Tim really went out of his way to make the stay comfortable enough that we even stayed two days longer. It is a beautiful house and we enjoyed it very much. My husband enjoyed the evening braais alot. The place is peaceful and relaxing. Hope you all the best Tim. Magret and Sylvester, Freestate

The accommodation was excellent, just as described on the website, and the photos are really what it looks like. The chalets are beautifully designed. It's really close to the lovely unspoiled beach at Swartvlei, with shops, cafés and restaurants nearby at Sedgefield or Wilderness. It was our 9th visit to the area, but the first to Reflections Eco-Reserve, we stayed a week and would truly love to go back if we can. Tim is hospitable and helpful, a charming host, and is very knowledgeable about conservation, animals and birds. Although it was just my husband and I staying there, I can imagine how wonderful it would be to stay there with children. A couple of comments for first-time visitors to South Africa from overseas: Please don't be put off by the gravel road, there are loads of them in South Africa, not a problem. Also don't be surprised at the number of dead trees, it's part of an extremely worthwhile national project that Tim can explain.
